Peloton offers free 90-day trial of at-home fitness app

Peloton is offering new users a 90-day trial of its subscription workout app, as more gyms shutdown in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

This follows the at-home fitness company’s decision to shutter all of its retail showrooms until March 29. The company says it will continue to produce and stream live classes, but only for members.

The fitness freebie doesn’t require a Peloton-branded bike or treadmill. Users can choose from classes such as yoga, meditation, strength training and more.

On Monday, Peloton shares saw a 13% uptick as demand continues to rise for the subscription workout company’s products amid the worsening virus.
