Between self-quarantining and social distancing, many of us are choosing to order household essentials are other entertainments products amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Because of this, disinfecting and cleaning products recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as exercise equipment, office supplies, and board games are all becoming harder to find in-stores and online.
Although there may be some slim pickings, you can still find essential items like hand sanitizer, paper towels, and tissues online at Target right now. You can also stock your cart with free weights, foam rollers, and board games to keep your entertained while you’re indoors for an extended period of time.
We scoured Target’s site to find the best household essentials and entertainment products that are still still available. We’ll also continue to update this list as items sell out, so check back to see if certain items come back in stock.
As a public service reminder, we’d like to remind everyone that buying household essentials is all well and good, but hoarding (buying more than you really need) actively harms your friends and neighbors. So please, buy responsibly.
1. Hand sanitizer
Target is one of the few retailers that is still selling hand sanitizer online, which is possibly the most sought-after product on the market right now. Although hand sanitizer inventory will come in and out of stock, it’s a smart place to check back frequently if you’re in need of any.

2. Hand soap
While Target may have hand sanitizer, washing your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds is the most effective way to protect yourself from the spread of coronavirus, according to CDC. Target still has a decent supply of popular hand soaps in stock that you can shop.
3. Paper towels and toilet paper
Paper products like toilet paper and paper towels can be particularly hard to come by on the internet, but Target tends to go in and out of stock of both. Check back to see if either of these sanitary essentials are currently available.
4. Disinfectant wipes and spray
Cleaning wipes and spray are essential for keeping surfaces clean and for disinfecting and protecting your home from the coronavirus, according to Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA). While they’re harder to come by as people try to make sure they have enough to disinfect their own space, you can still find some wipes and spray occasionally at Target.

5. Diapers
If you’re stuck at home with your little ones for an extended period of time, you absolutely don’t want to run out of diapers. To plan ahead, you may want to buy a few extra boxes worth of diapers—just to be safe. Target has a few popular brands of diapers available, though certain sizes may be limited
6. Dish soap
Dish soap is especially important to disinfect any dishes that could have been in contact with the coronavirus. The CDC recommends that those who are affected by the coronavirus should not share dishes, drinking glasses, cups, or utensils and that these items should be throughly washed with soap and water. You can still find some dish soaps in stock at Target.
7. Tissues
A runny nose isn’t a major symptom of coronavirus, according to the CDC (that would be a dry cough, fever, and shortness of breath), but it’s still a good idea to have tissues around. They’re useful if you catch a cold or to cough into. Target’s stock varies, but you can find both travel tissues and boxes online.

8. Fitness products
With gym and fitness boutiques closed, many individuals are resorting to at-home workouts, which means various exercise equipment is selling out. You can still find free weights, yoga mats, and resistance bands at Target to make your new workout routine a little more functional.
9. Office supplies
As many of us adjust to working from home, we also need to build an office supply collection for all those miscellaneous items that your office would supply you with. Think paper, pens, notepads, and the like. Luckily, you can stock up on these items at Target right now.
10. Puzzles and board games
After being stuck in the house for a few weeks, probably means you’re getting tired of binge-watching, baking, and crafting. That means it’s probably time to tackle a 1,000-piece puzzle or find a new board game to play with your family or roommates. Target still has these games and puzzles in stock and you can ship it in time for your next game night.
