Nordstrom launched a sitewide sale today where almost everything is 25% off. While this is their best sale yet (far better than their famous anniversary sale), the reasoning is rather bleak. On a positive note, this sale may help you find a discount on something you were looking to purchase to make this time (and/or the future) easier and more enjoyable.

Since many of us are stuck at home far more often than usual now, people are looking for things such as coffee makers to enjoy their favorite beverages at home, tech gadgets to make working from home easier, and even comfortable clothing for lounging. Nordstrom has all of these things and more—and almost all of the items are on sale. Not to mention, if you’ve been looking to invest in certain timeless best-sellers like Birkenstocks or a Canada Goose jacket, and you have the means to do so, now is your best bet. 

If you’re looking to shop this sale, these are our top picks. Perhaps you’d like to browse on your own, as well. This sale does not have an end date, but things are already selling out so act fast if you see something you love—or it may be gone tomorrow.

1. Pajamas

If you’ll be spending a lot more time indoors for the foreseeable future, pajamas could be a worthy investment—especially if you were looking to purchase new ones anyway. Nordstrom’s Moonlight pajamas have thousands of great reviews. They come in a long sleeve shirt and pants combo, as well as a shorts and t-shirt combo. You can even get the nightshirt version if pants just aren’t your thing. 

2. Yoga pants

I am constantly in search of new yoga pants—and not just for working out. I wear them while lounging at home and on-the-go. While I will not be on-the-go as much these days, I will most definitely be wearing yoga pants a lot more. In fact, I’ll probably be wearing them exclusively. If you are looking for a new pair of yoga pants, now is a great time to purchase with Nordstrom’s sitewide sale. The store’s fitness brand, Zella, sells fantastic, affordable leggings with thousands of excellent reviews that I absolutely love. You can also find deals on other yoga pants, such as ones by Beyond Yoga and ALO. I am a fan of Beyond Yoga, and our editor, Amanda, is obsessed with ALO leggings.

3. Barefoot Dreams cardigans and pullover

If you’re looking for comfortable clothing to wear while stuck at home, Barefoot Dreams sells great items. As the owner of the brand’s CozyChic cardigan that has thousands of 5-star reviews, I can attest to the item being as good as the people say. Barefoot Dreams sells tons of other things as well, including other cardigans, a pullover, and a robe. Some could even double as great to wear to work or out on errands when you are back to your normal routine. This does not include the robe.

4. Blankets

Looking for a new blanket to hang out with at home? Nordstrom’s home brand sells an affordable blanket that comes in tons of colors and has 5 stars from over 1,500 reviews. If you’re looking to invest in something pricier, Barefoot Dreams sells a blanket that is just as comfortable as their clothing.

5. Uggs

Uggs went from being an outdoor outfit staple to an indoor comfort staple rather quickly over the years. While Uggs may not be as fashionable as they once were in the mid-late 2000s, the brand still sells quality slippers that boast thousands of positive reviews from owners. If you’ve had your eye on a new pair of Uggs, now is a great time to buy since they are on sale.

6. Nike sweatpants

My daily outfit plan for the immediate future is looking quite uniformed in that I will be rocking yoga pants during my days and perhaps changing into sweatpants at night. I rarely wear sweatpants and actually only own one pair. However, now that I may be wearing them more often, this one thing I am debating purchasing. If you’re in the same boat as me, a new pair of top-rated Nike joggers at 25% off could be a worthy investment for now and the future.

If you’re looking for new tops or sweatshirts you can pair with sweats for your new ‘work clothing’ wardrobe, Nordstrom has quite a few quality options discounted right now. Zella, their affordable fitness brand, has a new trendy tie dye sweatshirt for sale.

8. Sports Bras

If you’ve been looking to purchase a new sports bra, Nordstrom has a ton on sale right now. Even though many gyms and fitness studios are closed for the foreseeable future, if you’re working out at home, your desire for a new sports bra would still remain. Wacoal’s Underwire Sports Bra has a 4.5 star rating from 1,800 reviews.

9. Underwear

Ladies, just because wearing a bra may be less common for you while staying inside, the need to wear underwear remains (right?). I have been slowly refreshing my underwear collection over the past two years by waiting until Hanky Panky underwear is on sale. After I purchased the brand’s Original Rise Thongs, I never turned back. They are comfortable and have yet to rip, unlike the majority of my other underwear, making the investment worth it.

10. Patagonia

Attention fans of Patagonia: the brand has tons of items currently on sale at Nordstrom. While the brand does sell outdoor gear and you are hopefully staying inside more, that doesn’t mean you’ll be inside forever. Plus, if you are practicing social distancing, you can still go on walks, runs, and hikes, as long as you are maintaining distance from others. Not to mention, some Patagonia clothing is great to lounge in at home.

11. Birkenstocks

If you’ve been thinking about investing in a pair of Birkenstocks, now is the time—they are on sale at Nordstrom (this never happens). Birkenstocks have been around for quite some time. I cannot say they are shoes that will never go out of style, because they did for quite a bit. But style aside, they are the most comfortable shoes I own, and thousands of enthusiastic reviewers agree. Even though they are trendy now, many people still wore them when they weren’t—and I understand why. 

12. Sneakers

Looking for a new pair of sneakers? You’re in luck. Tons of stylish, top-rated, best-selling sneakers are on sale at Nordstrom right now. The classic Stan Smiths by Adidas. The super comfortable slip-on Vans (approved by both me and Reviewed writer, Izzy). Madewell’s new collection of simple yet on trend sneakers. All are 25% off right now. 

13. Canada Goose

Winter may be coming to an end, but it will be back next year, and the year after that, and the year after that, and so on. If you’ve had your eye on a Canada Goose jacket, now is the best time to invest. The jackets hardly ever go on sale (the most popular ones never have), but right now, Nordstrom has them discounted by 25%. I have owned one for two winters now and absolutely love how warm it is. If you live in a place where frigid temperatures are the norm during winter, and you can afford to splurge, don’t miss this rare Canada Goose sale.

14. Tory Burch flip flops

Another crazy popular yet pricey item at Nordstrom is Tory Burch flip flops. These shoes have a 5-star rating from over 6,500 reviews and have been popular for years. Right now, they’re 25% off—including the classic and plain black color—and based on their popularity, will probably sell out soon.

15. Bose QuietComfort headphones

People all over the world are finding themselves adjusting to a new normal: working remotely. With all the distractions that can take place at home, it can be hard to actually get things done.
