Tonight’s State of the Union address begins at 9 p.m. ET and will be widely available online, even if you’ve cut the cord and ditched your cable subscription.
The final address by President Donald Trump during his first term will be carried live by the main broadcast networks, CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, PBS, C-SPAN and their digital channels as well.

On cable CNN, MSNBC and Fox News will carry the SOTU live, while their digital channels, which usually require proof of a cable or satellite subscription, drop the requirements for the news event.
Viewing will be available on CNN.com and the CNNgo app for smartphones, tablets and TVs via Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Google Chromecast. Fox News will stream on its website and Fox News Go app, MSNBC, and NBC news sites.
PBS will stream at PBS.org and the PBS YouTube channel, while CSPAN will offer a live feed on its website, as will the official White House feed, at https://www.whitehouse.gov/sotu.
The digital offshoots for CBS and ABC, CBSn and ABCNews.com, are widely available and will show the SOTU live on their smartphone, tablet and TV apps, which are viewable via streaming players like Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.
Many cord-cutters have replaced their cable subscriptions with streaming alternatives YouTubeTV, Hulu with Live TV, Fubo, Sling TV and AT&T Now, which offer a smaller offering of broadcast and cable channels, no cable equipment and a smaller fee, from $30 to $55 monthly, depending upon the provider. The five mentioned here will all have SOTU available on the broadcast and cable networks.
