Saturday is the rare 29th day in February, also known as Leap Day, a date that only happens every four years.

The day is even more rewarding if you have the rarest of birthdays and were born Feb. 29. Several restaurants will offer birthday freebies for the group known as Leaplings, Leapsters or Leapers. Most years, they celebrate their birthdays either Feb. 28 or March 1.

The following deals are available Saturday, Feb. 29 unless otherwise noted. Some deals start early and a few extend through Sunday. Participation and offers can vary by location so check with your closest location before heading out.
