Cartons of White Claw, a flavored alcoholic fizz in a can, are on display at the Round The Clock Deli September 11, 2019 in New York City. Health-conscious American millennials have found their drink of choice: alcoholic carbonated water that is lower in calories and carbs than beer and wine. A hard seltzer craze is sweeping the United States as Generation Y and Generation Z pursue healthier lifestyles, influenced by viral trends on Instagram and YouTube.

The ever-popular White Claw announced new flavors of their hard seltzer beverage Thursday.

The new flavors — watermelon, tangerine and lemon — will be sold in a variety pack with mango, which was released in October 2018.

Since mango was introduced, the company has released the less-popular White Claw Pure, which is flavorless hard seltzer, and White Claw 70, a variety pack of hard seltzers that are 70 calories and 3.7% alcohol by volume.

“In the last year, tens and thousands of eager and passionate consumers took to social media requesting new flavors- and we listened,” said Phil Rosse, president of White Claw Seltzer Works, in a statement.

The White Claw mango release in Milwaukee was popular. After it was released and patrons got a taste, many bars ran out and it was on backorder for weeks.

The hard seltzer market is more saturated than it was in 2018, so the debut of these new flavors might not be as exciting. But those loyal to the White Claw brand will probably want a taste.
